Forces Launch CASO In Srinagar Area

April, 29 Government forces on Monday afternoon launched a Cordon and Search Operation at Deyarwani area of Batamaloo in Central Kashmir's Srinagar district. Grenade Attack on SSPs Office in Sopore- Search Operation Launched

April 22 Shabir Khan Unknown persons on Monday afternoon hurled a grenade towards the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) office in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district. An official said the grenade was hurled at the office of  SSP Sopore near main gate town hall, but it missed the target and exploded outside the gate. However, there were no immediate reports of any injury or damage. Meanwhile, the government forces have cordoned off the area and a manhunt has been launched to nab to the attackers. Though the SSP of Police denied any attack having taken place saying that it was a mere firecracker.

All Schools to Remain Closed in District Islamabad (anantnag) Tomorrow

April 21 The District administration in Islamabad (Anantnag) district of South Kashmir has ordered the closure of all schools in the district on Monday in view of the elections that are scheduled for Tuesday. Chief Education Officer, Abdul Rabb Shad speaking to The Kashmiriyat said that all educational institutes upto class 12th will remain shut tomorrow. 715 Polling stations have been set up for 529256 electors including 269603 males, 257540 females, 2102 service electors (2091 male and 11 female) and 11 transgender voters.
