A new book chronicles the events and “untold stories” that occurred in Jammu and Kashmir after its special status under Article 370 and 35A was revoked on August 5, 2019. “A Dismantled State”, written by journalist Anuradha Bhasin, is based on eyewitness accounts from a range of people with an aim to understand “what happened in the Kashmir Valley” after August 2019. Suhail Dar At least four cowsheds were damaged in a massive blaze at the Tulbagh area of Shangus in south Kashmir's Anantnag district. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that during the intervening night of Friday and Saturday four cow-sheds belonging to Abdul Majeed Khan and Mohammed Rafiq Khan, sons of Mohammed Ayoub Khan, were gutted in a massive fire mishap. They said that fire tenders along with locals and Police tried to control the fire, however, when the fire was brought under control, dour sheds had been gutted. The statement reads during checking a mini-bus was intercepted and passengers were de-boarded from the vehicle safely.
