June 27 A Cordon and Search Operation has been launched in Seepan area of South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District on Wednesday noon. A Police official told The Kashmiriyat that the cordon has been launched in the area by Government forces including 1 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police. The official said that the operation has been launched after an input was received about Militant presence in the area. June 26 A Youth from Islamabad township of South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) district who had gone missing has posed with an Assault AK 47 Rifle. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the family of the youth had filed a missing report in the Islamabad Police station, which was confirmed by the Police officials. The youth identified as Burhan Ahmed Ganie aged 25 is a resident of SK Colony in Islamabad town outskirts and has a a physiotherapy degree. June 24 The incarcerated Chairman of Ummat e Islami and Mirwaiz of South Kashmir, Qazi Ahmed yasir on Sunday while expressing anger over bloodhsed in South Kashmir has said that the forces are conducting a steady genocide in South Kashmir. He said that unabated killings and inhumane behavior goes unchecked in Kashmir, perhaps the Indian Forces were planning this genocide every moment during the so called ceasefire when they killed at least 25 humans.
