5 Civilians Killed in South Kashmir after Resumption of Anti Militancy Operations

June 27 After central government ordered to resume anti militancy operations in Kashmir, since then five civilians have been killed in south Kashmir. The first one was Sheeraz Ahmed of Brakpora area of Islamabad (Anantnag) district in South Kashmir who was killed soon during clashes that erupted in Anantnag town after Eid prayers. Sirigufwara Encounter- 14 year old Boy succumbs to his injuries

June 23 Muzaffar Itoo Shahid Ahmed Hajam, a resident of Naid Mohallah in Sirhama area of South Kashmir's Islamabad District has succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS in Srinagar. Shahid, 14 studying in 9th class was injured during clahes near encounter site in Sirigufwara on Friday after being hit with a bullet in his head. Local Militant Arrested from Encounter Site, officials

June 23 Mohammed Ashraf Ganie A Local Militant identified as Shakoor Ganie has been arrested from the encounter site in Motalhama area of Quimoh in South Kashmir's Kulgam District. Two Shakoors ‘Likely’ Killed in Kulgam Encounter
