February 16 Secretariat employees in Jammu have been attacked three times since morning despite curfew in Janipur area of Jammu. A Secretariat employee told The Kashmiriyat over phone that violent mob attacked their quarters in Jammu's janipur area three times since morning. February 16 Post the Thursday attack on CRPF, which caused the death of 50 CRPF troopers, anguish and anger is being witnessed in parts of India. This anger has resulted in attacks and threats against Kashmiris residing in various parts of India. Traffic Allowed on Both Sides on Kashmir Highway

February 16 One-way traffic was allowed on the Jammu-Srinagar highway on Saturday and only stranded vehicles are moving from Jammu to Srinagar, a traffic official said. Around 7,000 vehicles stranded in the Kashmir Valley would only be allowed to move towards the Jammu region after the highway was completely decongested, the official added. He said that the process might get smoother by later in the day.

February 15 Kashmiris in Jammu fearing attacks from Locals mobs in Jammu, have evacuated to nearby mosques in large groups, as violence erupted in the region on Friday. A Kulgam resident working in Jammu told The Kashmiriyat over phone that locals from areas like Gujjar Nagar, Channi, Talab Tiloo, Janipur, Rehari, Bakshi Nagar have moved into mosques and will spend the entire night there. Thousands throng the House of Adil in Pulwama- Ummat e Islami to Organize Funeral Prayers in Absentia

February 15 Amid restrictions, Thousands of people Friday thronged the residence of slain militant Aadil Ahmad at his native in Kakapora area of Pulwama in south Kashmir to attend funeral prayers in absentia. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that women and men despite restrictions in large numbers have assembled in Gundibagh Kakapora. Aadil, the 23 year old affiliate of Jaish e Muhammad rammed a car planted with IED on a CRPF vehicle at Lethpora killing 49 CRPF personnel. Biggest Attack Ever in Kashmir- 42 Government Force Personnel Killed

February 14 Fourty Two paramilitary troops were killed and at least twenty others were injured, and a bus of CRPF they were travelling in was damaged in a car bomb attack along Srinagar-Jammu highway in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday. Confirming the attack, A Police official told The Kashmiriyat that around 3:15 pm, militants rammed a car into the CRPF bus triggered off an intensive blast. Following the blast the traffic has been suspended on the highway as forces cordon off the entire area and launched searches. Meanwhile Militant outfit, Jaish e Muhammad has claimed the responsibility of the attack, saying, "Adil Ahmed of Gandibagh, Pulwama carried out the deadly attack."
