July 03 The presence of snakes eggs has created fear psychosis among people in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district. The mysterious presence of what many called as Anaconda eggs have not only baffled people but the officials from Wild Life Department are also clueless. Interestingly, Anaconda does not lay eggs but at its birth the anaconda is attached to a yolk sac and surrounded by a clear membrane, not a shell, as they develop in their mother's body. July 03 A youth died after he drowned while taking a bath in a local Stream in Goshbugh, Pattan area in north Kashmir’s Baramulla on Tuesday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a 20 year old boy identified as Riyaz Ahmad Yatoo from the same area was taking a bath in a local stream when he drowned. July 03 The Jammu Kashmir Police claimed to have arrested a Hizb-ul-Mujahideen (HM) militant, and an Over Ground Worker (OGW) from Kishtawar on Monday. They identified the Militant as Rameez Ahmed Wani and the over ground worker as Nissar Ahmed Ganie. The Police said that ammunition was recovered from their possession saying that with the arrests, a terror module of the HM outfit has been busted and their plot to carry out strikes at different places and revive militancy foiled. During sustained interrogation of Nissar Ahmed, Police recovered three magazines of AK-47 rifle from his possession along with 90 live rounds, they said.

July 02 Massive Clashes erupted during a Cordon and Search Operation launched in Mitrigam area of South Kashmir's Pulwama District. The Government forces laid down a Cordon and search operation in area on Tuesday evening. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that 55 RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF laid down the Search operation jointly.
