Police attaches house for ‘Harbouring’ militants in Khrew
The Jammu Kashmir Police on Wednesday attached a house for allegedly harbouring militants in Khrew area in outskirts of Srinagar city.
The house belongs to Ghulam Ahmad Najar, a resident of Danik Mohalla Khrew in Srinagar, whose son is said to have been harbouring militants, as per the Police statement.
“On 19/20 August 2021, Police in Awantipora received an information through reliable sources regarding presence of a group of (militants) in the house of Ghulam Ahmad Najar son of Ghulam Mohammad Najar of Danak Mohala Khrew who are conspiring to carry out (militant) act in the area,” Police said in a statement issued to the press.
