A Delhi Court has granted bail to a 25-year-old Kashmiri youth, after the National Investigation Agency (NIA) failed to file a charge sheet within the statutory period against him in a case registered under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act, 1967, Live Law reported. The Principal District and Sessions Judge Dharmesh Sharma of Patiala House Courts granted bail to Fayaz Ahmad Khan who was arrested by the probe agency on 14 May after various raids were conducted in Jammu Kashmir in ‘The Resistance Front (TRF)’ conspiracy case. The Endangered royal stag, popularly known as the Hangul, has shown a gradual increase in its population and fresh survey in this regard is being carried out through genetic methods. The International Union for Conservation of Nature’s (IUCN) Red Data Book which contains lists of species at risk of extinction has declared the Hangul as one of three species that were critically endangered in JK. The other two are the Markhor and the Tibetan antelope or ‘Chiru’. Panic spread in the Pahoo area of south Kashmir's Pulwama district when the locals spotted wild boars late on Thursday night. An eyewitness told The Kashmiriyat that around 10 PM on Thursday he spotted a group of wild boars (around eight) moving towards the main road in Pahoo- Chakpora Pulwama which triggered panic among the locals. "We own a poultry farm in Pahoo. Around 10 PM, as we came out of our farm, we spotted a group of animals moving on the main road. Additional Director General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar on Friday said that foreign JeM militant Kamran has been killed in a gunfight at Kaprin area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district. While quoting ADGP Kashmir, The Kashmir Zone Police on its official Twitter handle wrote, " One FT of JeM militant outfit killed, identified as Kamran Bhai @ Hanees who was active in Kulgam-Shopian area. The government upper primary school in Shajan area of Tral in southern Kashmir's Pulwama district has no building to accommodate its students. Couple dies of suffocation due to gas leak in Baramulla: Police

A couple died of suffocation caused by gas leak in North Kashmir's Baramulla district, officials said here on Thursday. Authorities bar entry into nine properties of Jamaat e Islami in Shopian

District Magistrate Shopian has ordered ban on entry and usage of at least nine properties including a yet to be functional school building belonging to Jamaat-e-Islami following communication by State Investigation Agency.
