Grenade found in Budgam area, Destroyed

A live grenade was found on Thursday in Central Kashmir Budgam’s Budran Magam area while digging the surface for an electric pole’s installation. Sourced told news agency Kashmir Dot Com that a live grenade was spotted when a portion of land was being dug for the installation of an electric pole. A bomb disposal squad of Budgam police was immediately called in who destroyed the grenade in-situ without causing any damage. Centre to deploy more troops in Kashmir in wake of recent killings

The Centre has decided to deploy additional security forces in the Kashmir Valley in wake of the recent killing of minorities in Jammu Kashmir, security sources said here.
