Massive Search Operations Begin in Jhelum to Trace Drowned Islamabad Boy

July 24 The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) has constituted a Marcos team to trace out the boy who drowned in river Jhelum on Tuesday afternoon. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Sahir Rashid Trumboo aged 09, a resident of Monawarabad, Khayam drowned while taking bath in the Jhelum river near Nathpora, Khanbal area of South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District. The other two boys accompanying him tried to help him, but to no avail and soon when it came to the notice of his relatives in nathpora area they tried to look for him, but all in vain. Massive CASO Underway in Dooru Area

July  23 A Cordon and Search operation has been launched at Mir Maidan in Dooru area of South Kashmir's Islmabad (Anantnag) District on Monday night. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that 19 RR of Indian, 164 Battalion of CRPF and Army and Jammu Kashmir police jointly launched the cordon and search operation in the locality. Following a specific input about Militant movement, the Government Forces have launched a CASO  in the area. Intense Stone Pelting Clashes in Dialgam- Locals Accuse Forces of Vandalization

July 22 Massive Clashes erupted in Dialgam area of South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District on Sunday after the killing of three Militants in Khudwani encounter in Kulgam. Sources told The Kashmriyat that youth in large numbers hit the streets and threw stones on vehicles of Government Forces who retaliated with intense tear smoke shelling. July 21 A Massive Search Operation has been launched by Jammu Kashmir Police and 3 RR of Indian Army in Bumzoo area of South Kashmir's Islamabad District. The Operation was launched after suspected Militants attacked a patrol party of CRPF at the KP Road area of the district. July 21 Massive gunshots have been heard around Bumzoo at Mattan area in South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) district in South Kashmir. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that massive gunshots were heard in the area which created panic in the area. As per initial reports suspected Militant fired upon a CRPF Party near Nambal area in Mattan. Police officials told The Kashmiriyat that Militants attacked 90 BN CRPF near Bumzoo area of Islamabad, but nobody was injured in the attack.

July 2 The Indian Army's 19RR and Jammu Kashmir Police have launched a massive Cordon and search operation in Anderwan and Shalnad Villages of Kokernag area in South Kashmir's Islamabad. Officials confirmed that the CASO was launched following specific inputs about Militant movement in the villages. The Forces have cordoned off the villages and sealed the entry and exit points before initiating a search operation in the area. This is pertinently the second CASO launched in the district since morning, a CASO is also going on in Krangsoo, Mattan area of the District.
