Road Accident In Islamabad, 2 Injured

July  14 Two persons were injured in road mishap at Palpora Dailgam area of south Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) district on Saturday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a Tempo load carrier bearing Registration JKO3G 4147 Collided with another Auto load carrier near Palpora Dailgam. Later on tempo rolled down resulting injuries of  two persons, both the injured were shifted to district hospital Anantnag for further treatment. Details emerging..

July 13 Nisar Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Rasool Bhat resident of Krad, Shangas area of south Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) district was on Friday laid to rest amid pro-freedom and pro-Islam slogans in his native village. The 23 year old was a Tractor driver by profession before leaving his home on Dec 8, 2017 for Bombay to never return back. For last five years he used to preach Tabligi Jamat and also worked in Saudi Arabia in the year 2015, locals told The Kashmiriyat. Stone Pelting clashes in Islamabad Area

July 13 Clashes Erupted between Government Forces and Youth in harnag area of South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District. The Protesters assembled near the road and threw stones on troopers deployed in the area. The Troopers fired tear smoke shells on the protesters to disperse them. CASO Launched in Kokernag Area

July 13 Following specific input about Militant movement in Soaf Kokernag area of Islamabad (Anantnag), the government forces have laid a siege in the area. The Anti Militancy cordon and search operation is being jointly conducted by 19 RR of Indian Army, 96 BN of CRPF and Jammu Kashmir police. Achabal Attack- Two CRPF Men killed, two others injured

July 13 Two CRPF men have been killed and a CRPF trooper injured along with two other civilians in a suspected militant attack in Achabal area on Friday. Hospital officials confirmed to The Kashmiriyat that a CRPF constable who had been injured in the attack has just now succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. Militant attack in Achabal

July 13 Suspected Militants on Friday fired upon a joint patrol of CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir police in Achabal area of South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) district. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that two bike-borne persons fired a volley of bullets on the patrolling party. As per initial reports, nobody was injured in the attack. Islamabad Area Shuts Against Arrests

July 09 The Damhal Khashipora area in South Kashmir's Islamabad District observed a complete shutdown against the arrests of Civilians. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that at least three boys from the area have been arrested on 08 July on the charges of stone throwing. Intense Stone throwing clashes had erupted in the area after Forces allegedly torn down the posters of Slain Burhan Wani whose second anniversary was being observed on Sunday. During the clashes, as many as three boys had been picked up by Government Forces, but they have not been released as of yet, Locals told The Kashmiriyat. Schools and Shops remained shut in the area while vehicular movement was very thin on the roads as locals demanded the release of the arrested youth.

Aerial Firing to Disperse Protesters in Damhal

July 08 Government Forces on Sunday resorted to aerial firing to disperse protesters in Damhal Khashipora area of South Kashmir’s Islamabad District. Local sources told The Kashmiriyat stone throwing clashes begun in the area when two boys were arrested by the Forces. The troops fired tear smoke shells to disperse the protesters. “They fired in the air to disperse the crowds,” Sources told The Kashmiriyat.

Burhan Anniversary- Massive Clashes Erupt in Dialgam

July 08 Intense Clashes erupted in Dialgam Area of South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) area Sunday on the anniversary of Slain Hizb commander, Burhan Wani. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that scores of youth shouting pro Freedom and Pro Burhan Slogans appeared on the roads. The Government Forces deployed in the area fired tear smoke shells and pellets to disperse the protesters. However the youth in large numbers retaliated with immense stone throwing, the clashes were going on when this report was filed.

Two Boys Die While taking Bath in Qazigund

ISLAMABAD
July 06 Sheikh Nadeem/ Waris Shah Two Nomad Boys died while taking bath at Tarigam Qazigund area of South Kashmir's Islamabad  (Anantnag) District on Friday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that both the boys went to take bath in a local Nallah and drowned  after which their dead bodies were recovered from the Nallah. The Duo were identified as Talib Hussain son of Shakeel Ahmad Jangle Aged 14 years old resident of Kasori Tehsil and District Kathua and Ishfaq Ahmad  aged 17 years Resident of Gurrain District in Samba. The Police later came to the spot of the incident and clarified it as a case of drowning. A Police official posted in Qazigund while speaking to The Kashmiriyat said that the bodies of the duo have been handed over to their families.
