February 24 Three Militants, Two Government Force personnel have been killed in an ongoing encounter that raged between militants and Government forces at Turigam area in  South Kashmir’s Kulgam District on Sunday afternoon. February 24 The death toll in the ongoing Kulgam Encounter has reached four as an injured army man has succumbed to his injures. Earlier, 34 RR of Indian army, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF had jointly launched an Anti Militancy operation in the area. During the gunfight, a Police official identified as Aman Thakur was killed and a major was injured along with two other soldiers of Indian Army. Among the injured soldiers, one succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. In the gunfight, two Militants have been also killed. Intense clashes also erupted around the encounter site between Youth and Government Forces, many youth also were injured. February 16 Accusing the Indian Army of Vadalization on Friday night, the locals of Churath, Czogam in Qazigund area of South Kashmir said that the entire area is being threatened by the Army. February 10 Amid intense sloganeering, Thousands of people thronged Quimoh area in Kulgam district of South Kashmir to attend the funeral of Parvez Ahmed (Hubaib).
