Dog Bite Cases Increasing in Kulgam- 10 Bitten in a Single Day

October 06 Nearly ten people were injured in dog bite cases in district  Kulgam of South Kashmir on Friday, out of whom one has been referred to Srinagar. People including children were injured during dog biting incidents at Banimulla, Tarigam, Matalhama and Tekipora, Four persons were injured in chadder ban area of Kulgam. All have been admitted in the district hospital for further treatment as earlier Alim Ahmed Bhat, 7 year old boy resident of Nanibug Kulgam died due to rabies of dog bite. Redwani Army Camp- SHRC seeks report from Police

October 04 The State Human Rights Commission of Jammu Kashmir has on Thursday directed the Deputy Commissioner and the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kulgam to file factual report on the Army camp that has been recently set up in Redwani area of Kulgam district. A Member of the Commission, Dilshad Shaheen hearing the case passed the direction and asked the respondent to file his response before 20-11-2018. Clashes Erupt in Islamabad Town as Forces Lay Siege to the Lal Chowk

October 03 Following a specific input about Militant movement, the Government Forces have launched a cordon and search operation in the Lal Chowk area of South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anannag) town. On Wednesday, the forces including 1 RR of Indian Army reached this township locality and are conducting a search operation in the area. Youth in large numbers hit the streets as soon as troops launched a joint operation, Shouting Pro Independence and Pro Militancy slogans, the youth hit the streets throwing stones on Government Forces.
