Food Safety Department Initiates Action against Paradise Hotel in Pahalgam

ISLAMABAD
August 06 The Food Safety Department of Jammu Kashmir Government on Monday inspected the premises of Paradise Hotel & Restaurant in Pahalgam area of South Kashmir and took action against the hotel for not following a proper dress code. The team of food safety department was headed by Assistant Commissioner of the department, Islamabad (Anantnag). Speaking to The Kashmiriyat the Assistant Director of Food Safety Department said that Action has been initiated against the Hotel adding that the samples of food have been sent for laboratory analysis.

CASO Launched in Siriguwara of Islamabad- Search Lights installed

August 06 Following an Input about Militant movement in the Hugam area of Sirigufwara in South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District A Cordon and Search operation has been launched in the area late night on Monday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that 3 RR of Indian, Army and Jammu Kashmir police jointly launched the cordon and search operation in the locality. A Local told The Kashmiriyat that the search operation is still going and search lights have been installed by the Government Forces.

Nocturnal Raids Continue in South Kashmir amid Clashes till 2 am

August 06 A youth was arrested by Government Forces during a nocturnal raid at Memander area of South Kashmir's Shopian district in the intervening night of Sunday and Monday. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that youth identified as Shakeel Ahmed was arrested initially after which the Forces tried to enter other houses, however youth hit the streets pelting stones on Forces forcing them to flee from the area. They said that the forces later fired tear smoke shells and pellets on the protesting youth, however the clashes continued till 2 am midnight, but forces did not enter any houses later. They left the village around 2:10 am, a Local informed The Kashmiriyat. Police Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Shakeel has been arrested for questioning.
