Two Injured in Bear Attack in Tral

September 15 Two persons got injured in a bear attack at Sherabad village in Tral sub division of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday. An official from sub district hospital Tral, confirmed the incident, and identified the duo as Tariq Ahmad Sheikh S/O Gh Nabi Sheikh, and his uncle Jalal Ud Din Sheikh, both residents of Sherabad Tral. He said that one among them namely Tariq Ahmad has been referred to SMHS hospital Srinagar as he was severely injured. Jalal Ud Din is being treated at Sub district hospital Tral.

September 14 Following a specific input about Militant movement, the Government Forces jointly launched a cordon and search operation in the Tiken area of South Kashmir's Pulwama District. Late afternoon on Friday, the forces including 55 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir police sealed all the entry and exit points to the Tiken area. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a heavy contingent of forces reached this Pulwama locality and are conducting a search operation in the area. Youth Goes Missing from his home in Tral

September 06 The Family of a youth from South Kashmir’s Tral town who has gone missing from September 3 has sought help of general public in tracing him. The missing youth identified as Tahir Ahmed Khan son of Ali Muhammad Khan, a resident of Chandrigam Tral according to family was working in a private hotel in Srinagar. “He left home on September 3 and since then is untraceable,” said his family and appealed general public to inform them or police station Awantipora in case they locate him.
