September 05 The Government Forces have allegedly assaulted the family members of Lateef Ahmed Dar alas Tiger in Dogripora area of South Kashmir's Pulwama District, an allegation the government forces have denied. Locals informed The Kashmiriyat that forces during the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday entered the house of the Lateef Tiger and thrashed the inmates including his three brothers. They said that the forces also ransacked the household items and vandalized the property in the house for the second time. September 05 Suspected Militants on Wednesday morning attacked a patrol of Indian Army's Rashtriya Rifles in HajiDarpora locality of lassipora in South kashmir's Pulwama District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that unknown gunmen opened fire towards a patrol of 55RR near Lassipora on Wednesday morning, however nobody was injured in the attack. The Army retaliated with intense firing, however the Militants managed to escape from the spot of the firing. An official confirming the incident said nobody was injured in the attack and the forces have launched a massive manhunt around the area.

September 04 A CASO has been launched in Kanigam area of Kandi in South Kashmir's Pulwama District on Tuesday afternoon. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that 55 RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police and BN CRPF laid down the Search operation jointly. "The Operation was launched after troopers received a specific input about Militant movement in the area," Sources said. The Search operations were going on when this report was filed.

September 04 Classwork has been suspended in various educational institutes of South Kashmir's Pulwama District following the killing of a 26 year old youth, Fayaz Ahmed Wani. Officials told The Kashmiriyat that the educational institutes have been closed down for the day (Tuesday) as a precautionary measure. Meanwhile the people of Pulwama have shut down their shops and other business establishments to protest the killing of Fayaz at the hands of Government Forces. September 03 Qazi Shibli/ Salman Shah Two photographs of youth posing with assault rifles have gone viral over Social media in Kashmir as the numbers of youth who have picked up guns challenging the Indian rule on Kashmir has mounted to 144, making 2018- the year of highest Militant recruitment since 2008. One of the youth in the photographs was identified as Amir Ahmed Bhat and Umar Ahmed Dhobi, both residents of Shopian. Amir Ahmed Bhat, the 21 year old young boy from Shopian's Chitragam, as per family members was arrested in January this year and was kept under detention for more than a month. September 03 Fayaz Ahmad wani son of Mohammad Ahsan wani who was working at  a private clinic in Pulwama town was asked by his parents not to go Pulwama today  as search operation is going on everywhere. September 03 A worker of People's Democratic Party was shot at by unknown gunmen on Monday when he was coming out of Sports stadium in Pulwama. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that gunmen fired upon a PDP worker identified as Mehraj Ahmad Parra, son of Ali Mohd Parra, a resident of Naira Pulwama in South Kashmir. Officials however said that he has escaped unhurt and is safe.

September 03 A Youth identified as Fayaz Ahmed Wani from South Kashmir's Pulwama District has been killed after forces opened fire upon unarmed protesters during clashes that erupted in Chewakalan locality during a CASO.
