Senior Lawyer, Babar Qadri has been shot by unknown gunmen in Srinagar district of Central Kashmir.
Babar who championed the 2010 campaign for Juvenile justice got dozens of children released from Police custodies during the uprising of 2010.
He was injured critically after being shot at on Thursday evening.
Babar was shifted to Srinagar hospital for treatment, however he succumbed to his injuries on his way to the hospital.
Babar was also vocal about the Kashmir conflict and went as a panelist on many TV discussions where he supported the Kashmir’s movement to Freedom.
Babar however was in support of a peaceful resolution for the Kashmir issue.
