After Pakistan pulled off a thrilling one-wicket win over Afghanistan in their Super Four encounter in Sharjah on Wednesday, Afghanistan fans vandalised the Sharjah property and beat Pakistan fans.
Tensions had been boiling over between the neighbours as Pakistan’s Asif Ali was reportedly abused by Afghanistan bowler Fareed Ahmad in the 19th over and Asif Ali angrily waived his bat at the pacer.
Fareed had struck twice in the over including the key wicket of big-hitting Asif, but Pakistan managed to pull off the close contest after Naseem Shah hit two sixes in the last over.

After the end of the thrilling encounter, Afghan fans in the Sharjah Cricket Stadium lost their cool and decided to destroy the seating and beat up Pakistani fans.
