Clashes have erupted around the encounter site in Firdous Abad locality of Batamaloo in Srinagar district of central Kashmir.
Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that scores of angry youth hit the streets on Thursday morning as soon as the firing stopped at the site of encounter.
The youth shouting slogans threw stones on the Forces deployed in the area, who fired tear smoke shells and pellets to disperse them.
The clashes were going on when this report was being filed.
Earlier, three Militants, one woman was killed during a gunfight that raged early morning in the Batamaloo area of Srinagar.
