India has recorded 4,01,993 new Covid-19 positive cases and 3,523 deaths in the last 24 hours, setting the highest global record.
India had recorded more than 3 lakh Covid positive cases for 9 days straight before Saturday.
The third phase of the vaccination drive begins today for those aged between 18-44 years.
Although, various states have stated that they are running out of vaccines including Delhi, Maharashtra, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
