A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel died of cardiac arrest in the Shopian district of south Kashmir.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that on Sunday morning, a trooper identified as Jai Prakash posted with 246 batalion of CRPF at Shopian’s Wachi area fell unconscious at the camp.
The 32-year-old was rushed to the hospital where he was declared brought dead upon arrival, he said.
Meanwhile, Police have launched an investigation into the matter.
