On the third day, thousands of common people including political activists, lawyers, trade unionists, transporters, and other eminent citizens visited Qazi Manzil to express solidarity with the family members of Qazi Mubeena who passed away on Wednesday.
A Fateh Khawani event was held today at Qazi Manzil after Friday prayers. The Rasm-e-Chauram will be held tomorrow.
The deceased was known as a woman of substance. Her untimely demise is being widely condoled. People of the Anantnag town and its suburbs remember the deceased as a woman of high patience and kind character.
Stalls have been installed at various places in the town where water and food are being served to the needy and others.
Mubeena Abdullah was an education officer and the wife of Shaheed-i-Umat, Dr. Qazi Nisar Ahmed, mother Mirwaiz South Kashmir Dr Qazi Ahmad Yasir, and Journalist Qazi Shibli.
