Amid a fresh wave of covid 19, the Director-General of Jammu Kashmir Police (DGP) and his wife have tested positive for coronavirus.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that the DGP Dilbagh Singh tested positive for the virus on Wednesday along with his wife for covid 19 in Jammu.
He said that the couple was showing symptoms of the virus which included fever and body ache.
As per reports, Dilbagh Singh has self quarantined himself at his residence in Jammu.
Pertinently 373 persons tested positive for covid 19 in Jammu Kashmir on Wednesday, the number marks the highest number of covid cases in 2020 so far.
