In view of escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, authorities have issued a public advisory urging citizens to refrain from filming or sharing videos of Indian Army, Air Force, Navy personnel, or military vehicle movements on social media.
The advisory, which targets the general public, senior citizens, and social media influencers, emphasizes that such actions, even if unintentional, can aid hostile forces. “By doing this, you are unknowingly helping the enemy,” the notice warns.
Citizens are being reminded to act responsibly, avoid spreading fake news or rumors, and only share verified information in the national interest. The message calls for unity, cyber awareness, and cooperation with security forces to maintain peace and harmony.
People are encouraged to report any suspicious activity or emergency by calling the national helpline 112 or other local emergency contact numbers.
Authorities reiterated: “Let us stand together to support our armed forces, strengthen our internal security, and ensure the safety of our nation.”
