In a powerful plea for global attention, Dutch researcher Frank Hoogerbeets has taken a stand against the ongoing mass killings in Gaza, where thousands of civilians have lost their lives with no resolution in sight.

Hoger asserts that ‘this is not a battle against terrorism, but a horrifying act of terrorism itself.’

Hoger, known for his work in earthquake forecasting, according to The Kashmiriyat, has chosen to halt his services temporarily, citing the incongruity of focusing on natural disasters while a humanitarian crisis of this magnitude persists.

“We try to save lives while people are being killed by the thousands. It doesn’t fit and it doesn’t feel right,” He said in a post on X. (Formerly Twitter)

“Therefore, we have decided to stop our services for the time being,” he asserts.

This move underscores the gravity of the situation and calls for immediate action to address the crisis in Gaza.

As the world grapples with this humanitarian catastrophe, the urgency to end the violence and suffering remains at the forefront of global consciousness.

Frank Hoogerbeets is a well-known earthquake forecaster and researcher at SSGEOS. He is currently trending on social media platforms such as Twitter due to his accurate prediction of the recent earthquake in Turkey.

He is recognized for his expertise in forecasting earthquakes, and his work has gained significant attention and recognition in the field.
