Earthquake: Tremors felt in Jammu and Kashmir as 4.5 magnitude quake hits Pakistan

An earthquake hit Pakistan on Friday, September 10, 2021, precisely at 10:52:59 a.m. with a magnitude of 4.5.

The tremors were also felt in Jammu Kashmir as well.

The depth of the earthquake was said to be 178.0 km.

The Epicenter of the earthquake was Dir district of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan. (latitude / longitude: 35.26°N / 72.03°E)

Estimated released energy is said to be 3.5 x 1011 joules (98.6 megawatt hours, equivalent to 84.8 tons of TNT), as per the National Center for Seismology.
