Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) was celebrated with religious fervor across district Shopian, on Friday, at the revered shrine of Asar Sharif Hazratbal Pinjoora, Shopian where the Holy Relic of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was displayed for the devotees after Friday prayer.
Hundreds of devotees thronged Dargah Hazratbal Pinjoora for congregational Friday prayers and had glimpses of the Holy Relic.
The day marks the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and is observed annually on the 12th day of Rabi-ul-Awal-the third month of the Islamic calendar.
