
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has reiterated support for the resolution of the Kashmir issue as per the United Nations resolutions, Hindustan Times reported.
“Another issue is the Kashmir issue and in line with the expectations of our brothers and sisters from Kashmir, we support the resolution of the issue according to the UN resolutions,” Erdogan said.
Erdogan raised the Kashmir issue during the visit of Pakistan’s PM to Turkey who is said to have “informed” the Turkish President of India’s action in Jammu Kashmir and how they pose a threat to “regional peace and stability.”
As per the report, Erdogan praised Pakistan in its fight against “terrorism” and said that Pakistan would soon be terror-free if it continued its efforts against it.
