The family of a 19-year-old youth from the Shopian district has appealed to him to return home, a week after he went missing from his home.
A family member speaking to The Kashmiriyat said that Tufail Nazir Ganie (19), son of Nazir Ahmad Ganie, a resident of Jamnagari Shopian left home last week and did not return home afterward.
They said that since the day, the family has been constantly trying to reach him, but to no avail.
“He had recently passed his class 12th exam and was driving a truck since then to take care of the family expenses,” the family member said.

On Wednesday, the family issued an emotional appeal asking him to return. “The family needs him. There is nobody to take care of us,” his mother said in the video.
