Three residential houses and two cow sheds were damaged during a massive fire incident in the Yachama Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that on Tuesday fire broke out from a residential house in the area which later spread to two more houses and two nearby cowsheds.
He said that fire tenders were rushed to the spot to control the fire, however, five structures suffered damage in the fire incident.
The cause of fire was not known immediately, he said.
