The Government Forces allegedly assaulted a driver on national Highway near Harnag in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag).
Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that a driver was mercilessly assaulted by Indian Army early morning on Wednesday.
Hundreds of locals later intervened and rescued the driver post which they raised Pro Freedom and Pro Islam Anti India slogans, Locals told The Kashmiriyat.
They blocked the national Highway in protest against the merciless thrashing of the driver at the hands of Indian Army.
The driver as per the locals has been shifted to the District hospital Islamabad for treatment.
