Girish Chandra Murmu, the First Lieutenant Governor of Jammu Kashmir, after resigning from the LG post this week has been given the charge of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India.
Murmu is succeeding Rajiv Mehrishi, for this esteemed position.
