Foundation stone of water tank laid in Anantnag village

The foundation stone of a water tank was laid in Kanganhal village in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district today.

DDC member Achabal Sameena Hussain laid the foundation stone of the project in presence of local villagers and NC’s senior leader Hashim Hussain.

Speaking to The Kashmiriyat they said, “We have been working on this project for the last two years and today we inaugurated it and it is estimated around 4.5 crores.”

“We are trying every means so that every household gets the water supply, by this water scheme our mothers, and sisters there will not suffer hardships,” they said.

We talked to administration, they gave us a time limit under which all the contractors have to work and the people will benefit, they added.

The ceremony was attended by the DDC officers of Achabal, PHE officers, AEE, and JE.
