Free Medical camp held at Gund Hassi Bhat, Srinagar

Free Medical Camp was organised by Civil Defence Srinagar in collaboration with Ahsan Foundation JK and NGO’s co-ordination Committee JK at Rahi Public School Gund Hassi Bhat, Lawaypora – Srinagar.

The Camp was inaugurated by DY Controller Civil Defence Srinagar, Madam Amara Naseem in presence of Mr G N Var President Private Schools Association JK, DYP – SDRF Mr Rashid Khan, Mr Mir Shabir Ahmad – Principal Government High Secondary School – Gund Hassi Bhat, SDPO West Mr Muzafar Jan Sahib, DY Director NYK Mr Nazir Ahmad Shah, State Coordinator National Tobacco Control Programme – Dr Naseer Ahmad, District Youth Coordinator Srinagar, Mr Abdul Aziz Hakeem, State coordinator PSA Mr Tariq Hussain Balli Tahir.

Amid Covid-19, some Srinagar based prominent doctors were also invited on the occasion who treated the patients with no charges.

At least, hundred of patients were given free consultation and medicines.

The programme was coordinated by Mr Rahi Riyaz Ahmad Divisional Warden Civil Defence Srinagar.

Ahsan foundation chairman, Mr Rahi Riyaz told The Kahmiriyat, that “ammune booster” a medicine which can strengthen the immune system of the human body was given to patients.

“The motto of this camp is to aware the people regarding Covid-19, threats. We know what the winter is ahead there might be the surging of Corona virus cases. Such medical camps can help the people to combat with deadly virus,” he said.

The residents of the area said that such medical camps should be held regularly and thanked Ahsaan foundation NGO, and Coordination members for organising it.
