Amid the massive spread of COVID-19 pandemic, the locals of Hardu ichloo in Tangmarg area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla have alleged that the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of the area has refused to grant them a transformer as the area has been declared a red zone.

The SDM however refused the allegation and said that he has not spoken to the locals and the transformer shall reach them by tomorrow.

The locals however alleged that the SDM over a phone call denied them a transformer as the officials are apprehensive of the area having ten to twelve active corona cases.
