Government employees likely to get half day leave to witness Ram Temple inauguration

On January 22, a significant development is anticipated as government employees and students in state-run schools may be granted a half-day leave to partake in the live telecast of the auspicious consecration ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

Union Minister Jitendra Singh has officially affirmed the half-day leave for government offices, while a decision for state-run schools remains pending, adding an air of anticipation to the approaching event.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, keenly involved in the preparations, has reportedly sought feedback from ministers to ensure a seamless and memorable experience for all. In a unique twist, ministers have been instructed to illuminate lamps at their residences, fostering a celebratory atmosphere reminiscent of Diwali.

Furthermore, they are urged to extend their support to the less fortunate, embodying a spirit of compassion and community engagement.

Amidst these preparations, ministers have been assigned an additional responsibility – organizing trips to Ayodhya for the residents of their respective constituencies.

These excursions are strategically planned to coincide with the opening of the temple to the public immediately after the January 22 consecration ceremony.

Ministers are expected to play a hands-on role, overseeing the logistical arrangements and personally accompanying constituents on these historic trips to Ayodhya.

This multi-faceted approach not only underscores the government’s commitment to facilitating public participation in the monumental event but also emphasizes the Prime Minister’s desire to infuse a sense of joy and shared celebration among the citizens.
