Government Lecturer and Teenage Youth Die of Sudden Heart Attack While Another Hospitalized in Kulgam

In a yet tragic incident, Government Lecturer among two youth dies of sudden cardiac arrest in Dadipora area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Friday evening, officials said.

Official sources told The Kashmiriyat that a government lecturer from Dadipora village died soon after complaining about sudden severe pain in the chest at his home.

They said Mysar Maqbool (37 years old) presently was a lecturer at GHHS Qoimoh was immediately rushed to a nearby healthcare facility, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

They further added Sameer Ahmad Wani (14 years old) from same village, after hearing the news of Myser Maqbool’s death, he too suffered a massive cardic arrested and died on the spot.

Local sources from Dadipora Kulgam told The Kashmiriyat that a girl in the neighbouring village of Zadipura suffered minor attack and was shifted to Srinagar for treatment.

Hospital sources told that the condition of said girl is stable.

Meanwhile, a pale of gloom descended in the entire village after the sudden death of two youths in the area.

Notably, the Kashmir Valley has witnessed a surge in sudden cardiac arrests and scores of people have died so far in the valley due to the cardiac arrest.
