Hindu right wing mob attacks worshippers inside Haryana mosque, 20 injured

In yet another incident of hate, Muslim worshippers were attacked by a mob in the Sandal Kalan area of Haryana’s Sonipat district, injuring at least 10 Muslim worshippers.

Reports said that a mob of more than twenty-five people armed with sticks, and swords entered a local mosque during night prayers and attacked Muslims who were offering prayers.

Pictures of the attackers carrying lathis (bamboo sticks) in their hands and roaming the streets of the village have been circulated widely on social media.

At least nine of those injured have been shifted to the nearby hospital for treatment, as per reports.

Those treated at the hospital include Istiyaq Ali, Alamir, Sabir Ali, Faryad, Ansar Ali, Zulekha, Ali Tab, Nargis and Zarina, all residents of the same village.

The Haryana Police have registered an FIR in this regard and launched further investigation into the matter.
