A Hindutva mob set afire Christian religious books and attacked priests in the Kolar region in Karnataka on Sunday, NDTV reported.
According to a report, the priests were conducting a prayer meeting on a Sunday morning, when Hindutva groups barged into the house.
The NDTV report quoted a Police official saying, “The Police has warned the Christian community to not create any communal disharmony by going door-to-door and preaching,” adding, “Both parties, the right-wing and the Christian community members have settled the matter amicably,” the officer said.
The latest incident is the 38th attack on the religious minorities in Karnataka in the last 12 months.
