“Hum leke Rahenge Azadi,” (We shall have our Freedom, Come What May), Mir Jamsheed Jameel, a Ph.D Scholar from Bandipora cried in pain on the hospital bed before in Srinagar before loosing battle to Cancer.
Mir Jamsheed who was a brilliant writer and had written many papers and articles for local as well as international publications died of cancer on Wednesday night, his funeral prayers will be offered in his native at Bandipora.
Jamsheed had completed his research program in Peace in conflict resolution in 2014 and was working for working as a board member for Environmental Governance and Sustainability Studies since 2016.
