Hurriyat Freedom did not last Long, Nobody will be allowed to Shopian

The Director General of Police on last Friday had announced that Hurriyat leaders will be allowed to go anywhere as they wish.

But on Sunday Hurriyat leaders were again put under House arrest while Yasin malik was detained and lodged in Central Jail Srinagar.

The Hurriyat has issued a call of ‘Shopian Chalo’ on Wednesday.

However nobody will be allowed to march to Shopian today, a Police official told ‘The Kashmiriyat’.

“Nobody, whether a Civilian or Hurriyat leader or media person will be allowed to March to Shopian today,” the Police official said.

Meanwhile a Team of ‘The Kashmiriyat’ was sent back on the way to Shopian to cover a story on Shopian Killings.

Strict Restrictions have been imposed throughout the valley especially in South Kashmir on the third consecutive day.

18 Kashmiris have been killed since Sunday, 17 of them in Shopian District of South Kashmir.

Train Services, Educational Institutes and Internet has been suspended in Southern Kashmir.
