India vs Pakistan: Match called off, 50-over game to start tomorrow

The weather has again halted the second match between India and Pakistan, as had been predicted.

Rain that began at 16:53 IST forced India to uphold its innings at 24.1 overs and 147 runs for the loss of two wickets.

Play has been called off, updated Cricbuzz. Adding “But we do have a reserve day. We will be back tomorrow and it will be a full 50-over game with India starting from 24.1 overs. The match will resume at 15:00 local time.”

“The prediction was today to be washed out and hence there was a big call of adding a reserve day, but we did get some action as the Indian openers took on the Pakistan pace trio and set up a good platform before the skies opened,” reads Cricbuzz update.

The rain did stop and we were close to resumption but the rain returned and the umpires had to call it off. But the weather tomorrow too does not look promising, hopefully it changes overnight and we manage to complete this encounter, it further reads.
