Israeli Settlers Bomb Down Palestinian Prisoner’s House in the North of Ramallah

On Thursday, the Israeli occupation forces destroyed a Palestinian prisoner’s house in a bomb blast. Montaser Shalabi, the prisoner, lived in Turmus Ayya town in the north of Ramallah.

The locals say that the settler forces raided the town early morning and started bombing the prisoner’s house with explosives. It has been reported that damage has been caused to the nearby buildings as well.

While raiding the town, the Israeli Occupational Forces also attacked the residents of the area. The locals said that tear gas canisters and rubber bullets were used by the forces in order to disperse the locals. Although, no injuries were reported.

Shalabi’s wife had filed a petition in the Israeli Supreme Court against the decision to demolish the house where she lived with their children. But the Israeli Supreme Court upheld the decision to destroy the two-storey house of Shalabi’s family in a punitive measure.

Shalabi (44) does not belong to any resistance faction.
