Jammu Kashmir Bank unit located at Tangdar area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district has been functioning from a tin shed which is so small to even accommodate dozen customers.
Customers including women, senior citizens and Specially abled people can be seen waiting outside the bank under rain and sun.
The bank authorities have started construction work of a new building which has been ongoing at a snails pace for the last three years.
Speaking to Kashmir News Service KNS, people who were completely disturbed due to poor conditions in which the bank was functioning, urged authorities to complete the work at earliest.
Adding to the misery of people in Tangdhar is the Bank ATM which has been out of order for most time during last month according to people.The ATM was out of order also when this reporter visited it.(KNS)
