Jammu Kashmir records 362 New Covid-19 Cases, Lowest In 82 Days

10 More Deaths Take Toll To 4262, One More Black Fungus Case Confirmed

Jammu and Kashmir reported 362 new covid-19 cases, the lowest single-day spike in 82 days, even as ten more people succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Monday.

They said 101 cases were from Jammu Division and 261 from Kashmir Valley, taking the total count to 312156.

Regarding deaths, the officials told GNS that three were reported from Jammu Division and seven from Kashmir, taking the fatality count 4262.

Providing the district-wide details, the officials told GNS that Srinagar reported 79 cases, Baramulla 14, Budgam 37, Pulwama 21, Kupwara 22, Anantnag 44, Bandipora 11, Ganderbal 13, Kulgam 18, Shopian 2, Jammu 9, Udhampur 10, Rajouri 15, Doda 27, Kathua 1, Samba 1, Kishtwar 8, Poonch 9, Ramban 13 and Reasi 8.

Moreover, they said, 1224 more COVID-19 patients have recovered—264 from Jammu Division and 960 from Kashmir. 300135 patients have recovered so far, leaving active cases at 7759—2876 in Jammu and 4883 in Kashmir.

One new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) has been reported today, bringing the cumulative number of confirmed cases to 25 in J&K.

A number of fresh covid-19 cases were confirmed at diagnostic laboratories of CD hospital here and GMC Anantnag.

The CD cases include male (45) from Seer, male (65) from Tral, male (55) from Dadsara, male (60) from Saimoh, female (25) from Gangoo Pul, male (50) from Chatapora Pul, male (23) from KBK Brick Kiln Wahipora, male (44) from Litter Brick Klin 111, male (50) from Manghama Pul, male (09) from Chewakalan Pul, female (25) from Charipora Bud, female (30) from Achgoza Pul, male (60) from Tengen, female (28) from Mohnvij Kakapora, male (02) from Namlabal Pampore, female (35) from Safakadal, male (10) from Mallabagh, male (35) from Fatehkadal, female (34) from Karfali Mohalla, two females (24, 50) from Khanyar, male (30) and two females (65, 35) from Rainawari, male (60) from Bemina, male (60) from Lal Bazar, male (39) and female (35) from Zari Mohalla, male (34) from Madeen Sahib and female (23) from Bemina.

The GMC Anantnag cases include male (45) from Khiram, male (34) from Kabarmarg Larkipora, male (39) from Beacon Camp Verinag, three females (18, 45, 40), and male (48) from Baba Mohalla Bij, male (25) from Bagbal, male (50) from C S Rather, female (29) from Manzgam, two males (24, 42) from Kulgam, female (18) from Chattabal, male (37) from Kanipora, female (65) from Yaripora, female (25) from Kaherwat, female (25) from Baihama, female (73) from Larnoo, female (55) from Tarigam, female (30) from Nepora, female (60) from Kehribal, male (45) from Khanabal Ang, male (28) from Mattan Ang, female (60) from KP Road Ang, male (52) from Katapora, male (25) from HS Bugh and male (50) from Nadimarg.
