Parts of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh are expected to witness a snowfall from Thursday to Sunday (December 8-11), the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted.
The IMD said moderate rain and snowfall may occur in parts of Kashmir, Jammu, and Ladakh. It said that fresh snowfall may b triggered by a fresh western disturbance.
Top Weather Office Officer Mukhtar Ahmed told the news agency Kashmir News Trust that weather will be cloudy on December 8 and it may snow in the upper reaches of the Valley but from December 9 and 10 snowfall is expected across Kashmir Valley. [KNT]
