Jammu Kashmir is likely to receive snow or rain by 29 and 30 November, Kashmir Weather reported.
The report said that Jammu Kashmir is set to be impacted by another Western Disturbance on November 29 and 30, bringing light rain/snow across the region.
Some areas may also witness a moderate spell of precipitation, while no snowfall is expected in the plains.
“Even if it does occur, the accumulation is expected to be minimal. The highest probability of snow is in Shopian district (50% chances), followed by Kulgam (30% chances). For Srinagar, there is only a 15% chance,” the report added.
Kashmir Weather reported that expect light to moderate snowfall in higher elevations, with the potential for accumulations of up to 6 inches in a few areas.
On November 29, no significant activity is expected. The intensity is expected to peak on November 30.h
The weather system’s impact will be higher in the southern parts of Kashmir, it said.
