Kashmir Valley has become the first place to witness protests over the ban on popular online mobile game Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) by the Indian government.
Days after the Modi Led Government in Delhi banned PUBG in India, the youth from Kashmir staged a peaceful protest in Srinagar’s press colony, demanding the government to revoke the order immediately.
PUBG enthusiasts carrying placards in their hands that “revoke PUBG ban, we cannot live without PUBG,” appeared at Srinagar’s Press Enclave to protest government’s decision to ban PUBG in India.
The game was banned amid the mounted tensions between India and China along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh.
The protesting youth from Srinagar appealed to the centre to revoke the ban on online mobile games.
