A driver died while as two other persons were injured after rolling boulders hitted a truck and tanker on Jammu-Srinagar highway.
“Due to overnight rains, boulders rolled down in Magarkote hitting a tanker and truck & resulting in on spot death of truck driver, injurues to others, who have been shifted to PHC Ramsoo.Rescue op on.NH-44 blocked.” DC Ramban Tweeted.
Confirming the incident, an official said that boulders rolled down on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) at Magarkot in Ramban district, hit a tanker and truck resulting in on spot death of truck driver while two others were injured who have been hospitalized.
He identified deceased driver as Muneeb Ahmed Hajam son of Abdul Rehman Hajam, a resident of area in Kulgam who was 21 years old.
