However, after 11 days, the report has not been submitted yet.

The locals from Khawajapora Syedpora area in Rainawari Srinagar told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that questioned the delay in submission of the report.

We are keenly waiting for the report so that the future courses of action like repairing and renovation would be taken up accordingly,” said Irfan Shah, a local from Rainawari Srinagar.

A local from Rainawari said that though his house was safe but since the house nearby his residential place developed cracks, his house was also sealed for precautionary measure, but now he along with his family is residing at his relative’s house, and they could only return their home once the expert committee submits its report.

However, Tehsildar Khanyar despite repeated attempts didn’t respond to repeated calls.
